How we make money

When you click through to a store and buy something, the store may pay us a commission through an affiliate network. You pay the same price as if you had gone to the store yourself.

Some stores pay us a fixed amount for each visitor we send them. Clicks from bots and repeated clicks are not charged.

A store can pay for an extra row in a list of offers. That row always says "Mainos · Ad".

It is never placed above an offer in stock that is more than 2 % cheaper, and there is at most one for every 5 results. It costs the store 0,22 € per click.

We are preparing a paid service that lists stores' products in Google Shopping (a comparison shopping service). It concerns Google and changes nothing on Mervo.

• Being listed is free. A store that pays nothing is listed and linked exactly like one that pays.
• Payment never changes the order of the offers. Only the labelled extra row is paid for.
• Payment never changes the price we show or the price you pay.
• Payment never affects our discount checks, ratings, tests or Store of the Year.
