Independent tests
Some products on Mervo show a test result from Testverkstan, a product-testing site. Here is what it is and how it tests.
Who owns it
Testverkstan is run by the same owner as Mervo. Mervo has no influence over which products are tested or what the results say.
How Testverkstan tests
- It publishes every measurement it makes.
- Its scores are calculated from those measurements, not set by an editor.
- Its testers are named and follow published test protocols.
- It carries no advertising and no sponsored content.
What you see on Mervo
The score, a short summary in the tester's words, the date of the test and a link to the full test.
Right next to every result we say that the test site has the same owner as Mervo.
What a test never does
- Mervo has no say over which products Testverkstan tests or what the results are.
- A test never changes the order of prices or products on Mervo.
- A sponsored placement never carries a test result.
- A product without a test shows nothing: never an empty score.
Test partners in other countries are independent of Mervo. Their relationship to us is stated next to their results in the same way.
